Full “Juicy” Circle

I love it when things come around full circle! I had the pleasure to take product shots for Pulp and Press Juice Co last month. When I moved to Canada back in 2015, my first job was at the Pulp and Press store. They were a startup at the time and had a cute tiny storefront on Central Ave, across the street from Victoria Park (VIP location for all the festivals).

I was the store staff, or as they called it, a brand ambassador. Even though it was not related to my professional career, it was the best job ever! I was able to practice and improve my English, and I got the opportunity to read and learn about nutrition and fitness. I helped people achieve well-being goals and push through hangovers. I also met a lot of cool people, some which became good friends.

That was my first job as a newcomer, and it was the first step into settling down in a new country. And now, six years later, I had the opportunity to work with the brand again, now as a permanent resident and this time doing what I am trained to do! We scheduled catalogue shots for juice cleanses and juice packs, casual product shots and a few lifestyle images for social media. The best part is that I now have a lot of juice in my fridge!

It has been amazing to watch the brand grow, from that little local store to having retailers all across Canada and now into the US market as well. They also added new juices, tea infusions with probiotics and smoothies.

It's funny how I still remember every single ingredient, nutritional fact and health benefits for all the classic juices. I guess I just repeated it a million times! It brought back so many memories!

So this is a Thank you post, that comes with a little taste of the shoot! Thank you to Chris and the Pulp and Press team for welcoming me into the family back then, and to Jon and the Northern team for allowing me to re-live some memories now. It means so much to work with brands I love, which played a meaningful role in my Canadian journey!

With much love and gratefulness,
Alieska
