Moving Day for the Live Well Collection
We'll be photographing all the recipes at the Live Well Headquarters, A.K.A Shauna's house! She has a gorgeous and big kitchen island, perfect for displaying the mise in place, props and equipment. Plus, her living room has lots of natural light and the basement plenty of storage so that we can work comfortably for the next 12 weeks.
The first step was to move all of our prop collection to her space and set up a temporary studio. Shauna got surprised when she saw that our entire prop inventory was more than 20 boxes plus several large surfaces. Nobody would believe that we can store all of that in our small one-bedroom apartment. But we value small living, so we've become masters at organizing and maximizing space! It's good for the planet and fits our lifestyle to have a tiny home!
We forgot to get the dolly cart, so we got a good workout for the day! One by one, we carried all the boxes out of the apartment, seven floors down into the car, and another floor down into the basement!
We're now all set for the first week of photoshoots!
